Thursday, March 16, 2006 - ROSWELL – (January 2006) – Mimms Enterprises is moving its offices to 780 Old Roswell Place, located off Holcomb Bridge Road, in Roswell Georgia. Mimms Enterprises was formed in 1984, as a partnership between David, Lonnie, and Robert Mimms. The combined skills and talents of the three brothers enabled their partnership to flourish. Over the past decade, Mimms Enterprises has experienced astounding success to the point where the assets of this once modest partnership are now equal to those of The Malon D. Mimms Company.

Today, Mimms Enterprises has grown to nearly 40 employees with approximately 530 tenants within 6,000,000 square-feet of retail, industrial and office properties. Juggling two separate companies under one roof with shared employees, has made additional growth a challenge.

Looking to the future, Mimms Enterprises has established a new retail development arm called SouthEastern Retail Investments (SERI). The mission of SERI is to develop power centers, lifestyle centers, grocery anchored centers, speculative retail strip centers, as well as identify retail build-to-suit opportunities throughout the entire Southeast. Mimms Enterprises will also maintain its growth through well established and positioned retail, industrial and office assets, new development, redevelopment and value added opportunities.

The Malon D. Mimms Company will be purchasing more properties from time to time, while continuing to engage in community & charitable endeavors. With these shifts and progressions, the two companies have decided that both would benefit more if they were handled as two separate organizations.

Mimms Enterprises (David, Lonnie, Robert, and their team) will relocate its offices to 780 Old Roswell Place, Suite 100, Roswell, Georgia 30076, on January 27, 2006. The Malon D. Mimms Company (Malon Mimms and his team) will remain at the current Roswell Mill facility, located at 85-A Mill Street, Suite 100, Roswell Georgia 30075.

Every principal and employee within Mimms Enterprises and The Malon D. Mimms Company is excited and optimistic about the public distinction between the two companies and views the changes as a positive step. Malon Mimms feels now is the appropriate time for his sons to take their company to new levels and expand the legacy of the Mimms family.
